I am currently working as consultant respiratory physician in NHS England (at Milton Keynes University Hospital). After completing my graduation in 2002 from Allama Iqbal Medical College Lahore (Pakistan), I joined structured training program in general internal medicine and then in respiratory medicine. In order to gain further training, experience and qualifications I moved to UK in 2010. My first appointment in NHS England as consultant was in 2014. I gained experience in interventional bronchoscopy from University College London Hospitals. Throughout my career I have been involved in teaching and training of medical students. I have been clinical and educational supervisor for junior doctors and respiratory trainees. I have participated in various research projects and audits on a regular basis. I am Royal College Examiner and Regional Advisor for Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.

During COVID-19 pandemic, I regularly looked after COVID-19 patients requiring inpatient treatments and have provided post-admission follow up care to these patients as well.
